Product Introduction

The corrosion phenomenon in boiler water systems is caused by various factors, such as pH value, dissolved oxygen, salinity in the water, temperature, pressure, and flow rate. Among these, dissolved oxygen is the main cause of corrosion. The characteristic of dissolved oxygen corrosion is the formation of pitting on the metal surface.
This agent specifically addresses this phenomenon, effectively solving the problem by eliminating dissolved oxygen in the water, thereby achieving a protective effect.

Features

This agent is a colorless and transparent solution; it is sodium sulfite with a catalyst. Within a very short time, it can remove dissolved oxygen from water, preventing oxygen from causing pitting corrosion in boiler tubes. Using this agent makes it very easy to control the residual amount of SO₃ in boiler water, and it is relatively inexpensive. However, it is suitable for use in boilers with pressures up to 60 kg/cm². Its reaction formula is as follows:

Na₂SO₃ + O₂ → 2Na₂SO₄
